Windows
Never play near anwindow and never push on the window screens.

Strange Animals
You should love your own dog but leave others alone! Be careful around animals you do not know.

Crossing the Street
Always cross the street at a crosswalk and with an adult. Look both ways before you cross to make sure there are no cars or trucks coming.

Chasing a Ball...
Never chase a ball into the road! There may be a car or trucking coming. Let the ball go and then ask an adult for help.
Safety Tip #5
Railroad Crossings
When railroad crossing gates are down, DO NOT go around them!
Stay off of railroad tracks, it is not a place for you to play.
Safety Tip #6
Playing with Matches
Never touch matches or lighters! You could get burned or start a fire.
Safety Tip #7
Calling 911
Dial the numbers 9 1 1 on a telephone to help somebody when they are hurt, to tell about a fire or when you need the police.
Learn about 911 with an adult. Call it only when there is an emergency!

Strangers in Cars
Never take a ride in a car with anyone unless your parents say it is OK.
Have a secret code word between you and your parents. If somebody comes to pick you up, ask them for the code. If they don't know it then RUN, YELL and TELL!

Playing with Guns
Never touch a gun, they are VERY dangerous! Tell your parents or a teacher if you ever see a gun.

Taking Shortcuts
Do not take shortcuts behind houses or through the woods. Always stay where people can see you and always let your parents know where you are.

Wearing Seat Belts
Always wear your seat belt!
Make sure you wear it correctly, have an adult help you if you need it.

Car Seats
Small children, such as your little brother or sister, should always ride in a special car seat. Make sure it is properly secured with a seat belt.

Roller Blading
Always wear your gear when you rollerblade. This includes wrist, elbow and knee pads and especially a helmet!
Also, do not ride in the street and be respectful to others and their property.

Skate Boarding
Always wear your gear when you go skateboarding. This includes wrist, elbow and knee pads and especially a helmet!

Riding a Bike
Always wear your gear when you go biking, especially your helmet!
Do not ride in the middle of the street. Use sidewalks wherever you can. Ride in the same direction as traffic and have an adult ride with you whenever you can.

Skiing
Always wear your gear when you go skiing, especially a helmet and goggles!
Never ski in areas that are not marked or are too hard for you to ski. Always ski with an adult.
