Directions

FROG
Step 1)   Start by taking one of the wooden corks and hold it so that the flat edges are at the top and bottom of it.  Stick the ends of 4 pipe cleaners along the bottom like shown in the picture.

Step 1) Have an adult help you cut the two inner pipe cleaners so that they are shorter than the two outer ones.  Bend the pipe cleaners like shown in the picture to make front and back legs.  The longer outer pipe cleaner will be the back legs and the shorter inner pipe cleaners will be the front legs.

Step 3) Stick a toothpick in the top of the cork.   Take another cork and holding it so that the flat edges are on it's side, stick the cork onto the top of the toothpick like shown in the picture.  This will be the frogs head.

Step 4) Glue buttons onto the frog's head to make eyes.

SPIDER
Step 1) Have an adult help you cut the pipe cleaners into 6 pieces of the same length.

Step 2) Stick the ends of 3 pipe cleaners along the long side of one of the corks.  Now stick the ends of the other 3 pipe cleaners along the opposite side of the cork.  (see the picture)

Step 3) Bend the pipe cleans to look like spider legs.

Step 4) Glue buttons onto the front side of the cork to make spider eyes.
