JELT Dear Jim: I am writing you this letter to share with you the feelings that I have in the work that you have done with child safety. I have two children, ages 4 & 7. As you may imagine, things like wearing seat belts and not talking to strangers are conversations that we frequently have. The work that you do reinforces our efforts in a way that I have never seen before. That way is through the use of music. My children have seen your programs on television, at local events, and have listened to your CD and tapes countless times. Children respond very well to music, and as a result I find that my children are checking to make sure that I have my seat belt on, sharing with me what they will do if a stranger approaches, etc. Thank you for all your efforts. My hope is to see your work more frequently as time goes on. I am sure that there are hundreds and thousands of parents like myself who feel the same way. I thought you might enjoy knowing.
