"The most highly rated of the
Lil' Iguana episodes, A Busy Day, was lauded for its teaching technique. The
program succeeded in our opinion, because it took into account the developmental learning
stage of the target audience and geared its material to that stage. The three episodes [A
Busy Day, Costume Party, The Lost Note] generally, but this episode particularly, did
a fine job of presenting information for preschoolers; using songs to teach, and allowing
children to hear and see the lesson rather than telling them."
