PICTURE AEROBICS -------------------- News Releases FREE COMPUTERS FOR OUR STUDENTS All are preloaded with thousands of pictures. The high speed slide shows display much of the worlds body of knowledge every 24 hours. The program is designed to create a photo library in the mind. Each computer displays 86,000 pictures every 24 hours. Our world in pictures Each new grouping is announced by a slide that sets up the mind's expectancy. A second set of 86,000 pics will be likely when we receive enough copyright free pictures to put on the internet. Designed for topic preview and postview. Topics are linked in timeline or regional order. Example: You can literally travel from Lewis and Clark to John Kennedy in 4 hours of viewing. Phoenicians to Greeks to Romans to English kings within 6 hours. -------- HOW TO USE AND FEATURES: You can start and leave any time. You can jump back any time. Announcement slides flash every 10 to 100 pictures. The slides show a condensed history of knowledge every 24 hours (86,000+ Pics). Your mind quickly adapts to changes of subject. We are also preparing announcement slide versions in other languages French Spanish and Chinese. --------- LOANER CURRICULUMS The curriculum computers are loaned to our enrolled students. If they break we replace them at no charge. ---------- PR release We are in the process of creating a large history of knowledge with 86,000 free pictures. We now have a working program that is free for our enrolled students. It includes over 100,000 copyrighted photos available from the Library of Congress. We will add thousands of pictures this year. --------- Progress to date. In 2001 our students downloaded 5000 pictures. Your photos can help this free learning program. We especially need photos from that illustrate geography typography artifacts painting sculpture. History Captions we can index are helpful but not required. ---------- PROCEDURE All pics you send: 1. Will be made into free CDs that can be requested. 2. Installed by topic as thumbnails at freepictures.org. Go to www.picturesfree.org to view thousands of pics that are free to anyone right now. Try it yourself. Download 1000 of our photos to a CD and run them 24 hours daily. ------------------------- Note: If you know of any school or individual also doing such a large scale program please call us toll-free 1-800-SCHOOL3. If you know how to reduce our costs of creating this massive program please volunteer your advice. --------------- PR release part Our students are contributing to a unique educational program. They are downloading photos from the Library of Congress (over 1000 per week). They search by topic or location to create an informative grouping. Introductory slides are inserted for every 10-100 pics. Students create a caption index for each group of pictures. Students make copies of the CDs and distribute to other students. Each history CD and its captions index is uploaded to Picturesfree.org. Picturesfree.org is a massive web site containing 100,000+ pictures. ----------- News Release Add to brochure and pr story Each student has a computer loaned by the school that runs 24 hours per day. This provides unscheduled educational supplements to the child's enrollment. Students preview and postview parts of a 4 year HS curriculum. They quickly learn about people or events that shaped our current lives. Topics include: US History Science World History in pictures Botany Zoology and more. The computer and it's picture cd's helps them connect to auditory phrases from tapes and texts The pictures parallel an auditory meaning phrase curriculum that accelerates student learning. Every few months students change computers to get a larger collection of photos and indexes. The loaner computers run 86,000 photos every 24 hours WARNING This is not a computer for games or the internet. Don't even use it for word processing. Buy a separate computer for those purposes. -------------- Advice Don't stop the computer. Track all daily viewing minutes. Make any comment you choose. Turn in your viewing report and start a new report. --------- Other computer usage. All students are given a free web site. All are encouraged to share their personal pictures with their families. Students can use a school camera to make photo essays of field trips. Digital cameras are loaned for weekend pictures. Some students write a journal of the weekend events. Instructors supplement the student's technical skills. ---------- cd features comment The CDs can be halted for longer inspections of photos. This is not recommended. This reduces the amount you can learn or trigger each hour. Multiple viewings of the photos add more information than close examination of the pictures. Slow viewing of individual pictures does not add substantially to knowledge. The slides are designed so that groups of pictures work together to transmit meaning. Groups quickly create a body of knowledge. The mind can use the pictures to help it comprehend more. Our goal is to build a larger database of visual experiences. --------- Be careful Slow moving pictures have a different effect on the brain. The mind may turn off. ---------- |
